What seems to be the problem, Officer?
Well, hi guys! Have you been wondering where I am? I’m sorry I did not update my blog, I just had a really busy last couple of days. I am all settled in again and ready to misbehave though so let’s do it!
Also, while I’m thinking about it, so you aren’t calling all day (or night!) wondering where I am, you can send me an email to see if I am around or whatever. Sometimes I am here but not doing calls due to having friends over or something (usually I will try to sneak off to answer anyway but sometimes a girl just has to be naughty), but if I am actually at home I do check my email pretty consistently so I could write back and let you know. I’m also getting a lot of “dates” with you guys lately so if you’d like to set up a specific time or a specific roleplay or something, please email me for that, too. I like the “dates” a lot because then I can kind of plan when I am going out or whatever, but I know horny doesn’t always work that far in advance so it is just an idea I wanted to put out there for you. Or just send me an email anyway. I like getting email in case you couldn’t tell!
Anyway, let me see if I can catch you up a little bit on what I’ve been up to.
Friday was a sort of strange day for me for various reasons and I don’t think I posted although I was here and working most of the time. I got a couple of pretty long calls and I know a lot of you were beeping in during that so sorry if you were one that I missed. You know I hate to leave anyone out so please please try me again! I did have a friend over for awhile late on Friday night so I did take a little break.
You know, I feel really guilty if I am not here and you are trying to get me, but honestly, if I don’t just get out for awhile and get out of my house and away from the computer and just do something different every now and then I’d be like a weird hermit chick or I’d be blah and no fun so please don’t be too disappointed in me. Now, for example, I have been out and about and I’m all refereshed and excited to be back to play. Yay!
Ok so yesterday. Where to start… hmm. Well, you know I have been miserable with all the rainy, gloomy weather and yesterday was SUNNY and like 75ish degrees. It was so glorious after days and days and endless days of rain that I just could not resist getting out to enjoy it. My BFF came over and we were going to like just hang out and whatever, but the SUNSHINE kept calling to us so we decided to go for a ride. In my car because it is cooler than hers (don’t tell her I said so) and because I have the big big sunroof that opens up practically the whole roof of my car. So we grabbed some diet cokes and some CDs and hit the road.
Nowhere to go, just out for a drive. I really like doing that, it is one of my favorite things. It just feels so relaxing and gives me such a sense of freedom from everything to just hop in the car and go. When I used to do this with my ex he would drive and he knew the city really well and all of the surrounding areas and everything so we would drive around on regular streets and stuff for a couple of hours and find new things and just kind of people watch or whatever. I’m not that good at the “local” kind of driving (and I like to drive FAST) so if I’m driving it is the highway. So, we hit the highway and cranked up the radio and it was fantastic. 65 South for those of you that are that interested.
The only problem with this is that I have too many tickets. So I specifically mentally tell myself before I get on the highway that I have to be good and use cruise control or whatever. And that has worked for awhile and it worked for awhile yesterday but there were a lot of people out and cruise control is a big pain when there’s traffic so… there were stretches where I didn’t have it on. I was doing my best to behave and I wasn’t like flying ahead of everyone or anything but I STILL got busted. Damn it. Grrrr. Yep, saw him too and knew he was coming after me. Oh, I tried to slink over into the right lane and be all la la la but no. He finally hunted me down and despite some of my best sweet talking ever, he gave me a ticket. He didn’t seem to keen on “we are just out for a ride because it is sunny and pretty” and gave me an arched eybrow while asking “from Indianapolis??”. Heh. Well, it WAS true. So, my little adventure cost me half of my million dollar gas AND $117. 
That part sucked. I did realize, however, that I am pretty well resigned to the fact that I just can’t drive slow and will forever have tickets. I think that’s going to be the second one that will “count” on my driving record. I have a handful of Marion County speeding tickets but they have this cheaty thing where you can just pay $150 and say you haven’t had a ticket and as long as you pay it before the due date, they don’t report it. I figured out after the second one of those when I kind of fibbed and checked that I didn’t have any other tickets that they don’t check. And oh… this big ticket? Geez I was only doing 81 in a 70. That’s not even that bad!
Well that is a ridiculously GIANT paragraph so I will move on.
So I mentioned that we took some CDs with us. One was the new Beach Boys that someone got for me. I got the 2 books, 2 DVDs and that CD – but like some of these mystery gifts I’ve received in the past… I don’t know who sent them. I’d love to personally thank you, but I couldn’t tell from the packing slip who you are. So just a general THANK YOU for now (please tell me who you are!). This is a lot of stuff for someone not to claim… come out come out whoever you are… ! Um and you owe me $117 because I got the ticket while Beach Boys was playing. Just kidding. Sort of. Heh.
It is sunny again today but not quite as warm. I am planning to stay in today though so I’ll just enjoy having the windows open and it being bright inside and out. Oh, windows reminds me… I went to close the blinds in my bedroom the other evening and you know I have that big pond behind my house? There was this big stork looking bird standing on the edge of the water. He seemed really out of place and I’d never seen one like that before. He had these big long stick legs and a big long beak/bill and so I was kind of looking at him and then I realized he was stalking little fishies. He was! He was lifting up those big stick legs one by one and moving across the edge of the pond and then he started hunkering down and BAM he plunged his head in and came up with a fish! I had the perfect timing to catch that. National Geographic right outside my window! I Googled him later and decided he was a Heron.
Ok, that’s a lot of babble for me to more or less tell you I wasn’t around but now I am. I am going to take a shower now and put on something cute and then wait for you guys to corrupt me. Or maybe I’ll corrupt you. We’ll see. 
P.S. All of my presents are now here so if anyone wants to treat me to another I would really like that! I just love getting presents. It doesn’t have to be anything expensive and actually I think most of the stuff on My Wish List is pretty inexpensive. I really just mostly like that you are thinking about me and want to get me a little something to make me smile. Like this: 
Oh wait, I lied. I’m still waiting on the cute nail polishes from Master J! Maybe tomorrow they will be here!
