I have absolutely nothing in mind for this post. I like to try to write daily so I thought I’d just go ahead and start and see where we end up. Nothing much new to report. I’m watching the news in the background because I realized yesterday I have been kind of out of touch with the happenings outside of my own little world. It’s all depressing. No wonder I’ve been avoiding it. The tornado stuff (they keep showing that boy scout camp) and the floods (soon the entire midwest will be be underwater I think) are particularly troubling. I certainly don’t want to end up in a tornado and it is entirely possible that I could. You guys would miss me terribly if that happened, right?

Ok, well I certainly didn’t intend to be depressing so let me think of something happy.

I’m sort of waiting for my dirty naughty daddy to call right now. He has a very devious mind and has thought up this whole roleplay within a roleplay that he emailed me a little while ago and I can’t wait. It’s going to be really yummy. My Snow Patrol CDs came yesterday from Doctor D - thanks baby. I am going to rip those and probably make some copies. Uh, is that illegal? If it is, never mind, I’m just going to play my own copy for my own personal enjoyment. La la la.

My new hairbrush is here too. It really did make my hair all soft and silky. So now I am sitting here in black shorts and a boring old worn out Colts t-shirt, but I have great hair!

I am kind of rambling, huh? Oh well, I don’t think I’ve really done that for awhile so hopefully you don’t mind too much.

Uglybabycat aka UBC has made herself right at home. She has a cute personality, but she sure isn’t the most attractive kitten ever. My dogs are still quite fascinated by her so that’s been rather entertaining. They all play together and sleep all curled up together so I don’t think the dogs are too upset at her arrival. I think really that they sort of think they are cats or that she is a weird dog or something. I don’t know, but there really wasn’t much conflict or anything.

Ok, yeah, I am boring. Clearly you guys need to call me and shut me up. I am sure that you can think of ways to do that. Heheh.

Oh and I know I remind you of this often, but it is worth repeating because it happens all the time - if you try calling me and I don’t answer, please do not call back every 3 seconds. I’m either on the phone with someone else and you beeping in like crazy is well, not good, or I’m not even here at all and you are running up my 800 bill. I am flattered, really, that you want me so badly that you put me on auto-redial or whatever it is you are doing, but please wait a few minutes and try back or send me an email. I am almost always near the computer (it’s a laptop, a rather rockin’ laptop at that, so it goes where I go) so I can answer fairly quickly - unless I am on a call and then of course he gets my undivided attention - I’ll email you back as soon as I finish though. Now I don’t like to be all scoldy (you know, unless you want me to) so please just be patient.

Maybe I am all scoldy today actually. I had a naughty brother call a little while ago where I was required to be on the mean side and maybe it has set the tone. Does anyone else require my disciplinarian skills? I am really not very mean or stern or whatever, but I can be quite wicked with the teasing and taunting and getting you to do things you don’t really want to (except that you secretly do want to).
