Thought I better get my sexy little butt in gear and post something since my inbox is now a series of “are you ok” emails. You guys are sweet to worry about me, but I assure you I am fine. Just being a naughty little girl this summer and I’ve been out and about and up to general mischief I suppose. I’ve mostly been lounging at the pool by day and hanging out with friends at night. I know this is old news now, but the 4th of July was fantastic for me. I went to 2 different cookouts and then a friend and I hopped in my car and took off for downtown. We were hoping to glimpse the main fireworks while driving around or whatever, but totally got lucky and found a parking lot with a perfect view! We pulled in and parked and ta da! In other news, the uglybabycat is gone. She slipped out a week or two ago while I was carrying some things out to my car and I wasn’t able to catch her. I had to leave and when I got home later she was nowhere to be found. I haven’t seen her since. I hate to say, but I wasn’t exactly all distraught or anything. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I felt bad and worried about her a little bit, but overall I was kind of not so upset. If you recall, my cousin brought her to me as a surprise. That was nice and she meant well, but I would rather pick out my own pet. Really I wanted one of those Ragdoll cats and ubc was definitely not that. So my dogs were kind of sad (or maybe curious is more like it) about the ubc being gone, but I think probably they are not too torn up about it either. Someone must have picked her up I guess – that’s what I’m telling myself at least.
My “schedule” is not much of a schedule anymore, so please just try me whenever for awhile I suppose. I’m sure I will settle down into a much more reliable routine once the weather turns cold again, but for now I am just kind of winging it.
